Leverage Mapping Workshop
We identify where coordination friction, decision latency, or information asymmetry are constraining performance.
AI leverage for Leadership Teams
Latent Labs works with capital-intensive, operationally complex businesses to design practical AI systems that improve decision quality, reduce coordination friction, and surface measurable leverage.
No hype. No theatre. Just focused, high-conviction leverage discovery and response.
If it isnβt, it should be.
If it is, the next question is: what are you actually doing about it?
AI has moved beyond a technology play. It is now a business model disruptor, with implications for risk, competitiveness, operating models, and long-term relevance.
Thatβs where Latent Labs comes in.
We help leadership teams assess the risk, understand the opportunity, and decide on a practical response.
Our model
We identify where coordination friction, decision latency, or information asymmetry are constraining performance.
We implement a working prototype targeting a single high-impact bottleneck.
If value is proven, we scale deliberately. If not, we stop.
Small bets. Clear metrics. Capital-efficient decisions.
They begin with tools.
Chatbots. Dashboards. Automations. Pilots with no economic anchor.
What they lack is structural thinking.
AI does not create advantage on its own.
It amplifies existing systems β good or bad.
The real question is not “Where can we use AI?”
It is:
Where is leverage already latent inside your organisation?
We work with:
If you are seeking a large consulting team or a full-system overhaul, we are not the right fit.
As businesses scale, friction accumulates:
Most organisations adapt around these constraints.
Few redesign them.
Translate AI capability into capital-efficient competitive advantage.
Identify where AI can create measurable yield, margin expansion, risk reduction, or capital clarity.
Low-risk, tightly scoped experiments to test leverage before committing to scale.
Extract signal from unstructured data β reports, council documents, operational logs, deal flow β and turn it into decision advantage.
Implement durable AI-enabled workflows aligned with your existing tools and constraints.
Through AI-leveraged coding guided by experienced solution design architects.
Andy Masters β Founder
Latent Labs is led by Andy Masters, a Christchurch-based technology leader with a long history in AI, software, architecture, and applied innovation. Andy studied AI in the 1990s and has worked across roles including developer, technology leader, startup Head of Technology, and Solutions Architect, helping organisations turn complex technology into practical business outcomes.
He is also a board member of Canterbury Tech, bringing an added perspective on governance, leadership, and the wider technology community.
Latent Labs combines strategic thinking, technical depth, and rapid experimentation to help leadership teams respond to AI with clarity and action.

We are not:
We work best with decisive operators willing to run focused experiments.
In a 30-minute call we will get to know each other and identify whether a focused AI leverage sprint makes sense. If it does not, we will say so.
